Adaptive Cycling - Bayamon, Puerto Rico

Come join us at Parque Lineal in Bayamon for our progressive cycling clinic in partnership with the VA Caribbean Healthcare system. This satellite program has limited equipment available and registration is required. The progressive program will go over a variety of bike types, assessment & fitting, and riding on the trail. Who can attend?: Registered participants, including veterans, and families or caregivers. Expectations: Must be able to self-transfer up or down by 12+ inches; ; must be comfortable in group spaces and noise; must be 18 years or older to participate. How should I dress? Please wear moisture wicking and comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes and bring rain gear and layers in case of inclement weather.  What should I bring? Participants are recommended to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and hat for practice. Timeliness: All participants, volunteers, and community partners are expected to register for each event, arrive on time, and be ready for program start. Please notify staff in case of cancellation, running late, or any other event.
