Description

A fun, yet challenging indoor fitness program, open and inclusive for civilian and veterans. This progressive program will develop your strength and endurance, build partnerships, and test your limits as you learn new movements. Who can attend?: Registered participants, including civilians, veterans, and youth over 5 who are living with a physical disability, and families, caregivers, volunteers, or community partners. Expectations: Must be able to self-transfer up or down by 12+ inches; must be comfortable in group spaces with close confinement with other athletes, must be comfortable with noise and lights; must be 18 years or older to participate. How should I dress? Please wear comfortable layers conducive to indoor physical activity and closed toe shoes. What should I bring? Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle and snacks to support fitness, a yoga mat for pre- and/or post-fitness stretching. Timeliness: All participants, volunteers, and community partners are expected to register for each event, arrive on time, and be ready for program start. Please notify staff in case of cancellation, running late, or any other event. The program will start at the scheduled time, and anyone arriving more than 10 minutes late without notice may not be permitted to join the program.
