There are two routes to participate on this special day-  101 Mile  OR  54 Miles (different start times)

101.20 Mile Route (3127' of Climbing) ~  10 Hours at 10mph ("non smart-trainer") to as fast as 4.5 Hours at 24mph. Cataño to Aguadilla Puerto Rico- 0630 MT Start Time

54.6 Mile Route (1598' of Climbing) ~ 5.4 Hours at 10mph ("non-smart" trainer) or as fast as 2.25 at 24mph. Barceloneta to Hatillo loop- 0830 MT Start Time

This is a powerful annual event with our great community partner, Warriors4Life, that we are honored to hold virtually due to the current situation. We will ride inside but together in this international community, thanks to Zoom and Rouvy Training App! We are resilient and will make this ride a virtual challenge with two courses designed after the exact course we typically ride in Puerto Rico. You will not only be challenging yourself, but also will be encouraging and supporting fellow veteran riders and those who have lost loved ones. We will honor and remember those brothers and sisters through this challenge of nearly 170 miles from East to West! All registrants will be sent Rouvy routes that utilize a speed/cadence sensor or smart trainer. If you do not have either of these tools, we would still love for you to participate, you simply will not be able to track your mileage.

We can not let the need to physically space and isolate make an already vulnerable group with physical and emotional trauma feel more alone, or forget those who gave everything for us. We are never alone! Together we shall use every link of a chain, to hold us together and rise above veteran suicide and loss.

What to Expect:

You must have your own trainer and bike of any kind to take part at the highest level (can work together to help those in need to find a trainer local to you through Facebook Marketplace, local bike shops, or from friends of the cycling world. No smart trainers required... any rollers or stands work, provided you have a speed and cadence senor on your bike (ask for details from our staff)! It's so exciting to ride with hundreds of online riders in this virtual peleton ride. Zoom Room will have you interacting with the other riders, listening to music, and a special honoring ceremony from the Carolina American Legion and moment of silence at Noon- Puerto Rico and EST time.

Together, Adaptive Adventures Cycling and Warriors 4 Life is dedicated to our nation's wounded veterans andBlue Star Families...promoting recovery and honoring those lost through a healthy active lifestyle, self awareness and empowerment.
