Veteran Cycling Clinic and Rides - Hawaii
Location
Paki Ave
Honolulu, HI
United States of America
Building Number: Across from tennis courts
Summary
Description
**By clicking the "register" button, Due to the limited number of spots available (8 total participants per group), you will have the ability to ride as a participant, learn new skills as pertained to adaptive cycling, and learn ways to serve as a fitting, sizing, buddy rider, and maintain the trailer and allow it to continue serving our great community. If there are more than 8 at any given point, you will break off into a different pod to keep spread out or sent on a ride to minimize 'group size'. A perfect park to do so, and lots of park benches and space in the immediate area to wait turns, and relax in perfect shade of the Banyan trees. Bring a chair if you want to make a day of it.
We will practice social distancing- which is easy on bikes, and when within 6’ or less, you will be expected to wear a mask, regardless of immunization or not. We will also amend our original schedule to add more locations to be easier to access our opportunities to receive training and recreation opportunities. This v.2 kick off of the new to Oahu Ohana has been overwhelming and we will find the best ways to navigate as much outreach as possible with limited equipment and group size limitations. We shall grow this together!
