Description
Join Adaptive Adventures as we travel through the Midwest for the Fall 2021 cycling tour. We will provide an immersion clinic that is open to the community as we meet in the St Louis area. The clinic will consist of the basics of
adaptive cycling and an introduction to trail riding. We will meet at the Lewis & Clark Boat House and Museum where our trailer will be parked providing adaptive cycles. We are calling all volunteers and buddy riders who are interested in learning more about adaptive cycling.
Friday October 22, 2021
0930-1000: Arrival and set up. Get bikes out and ready
1000-1100: Classroom session: Basic Bike Mechanics
1100-1110: Break for restroom, hydration, snack
1115-1300: Bike Ride on Katy Trail
1300-1430: Social at Bike Stop Café
Saturday October 23, 2021
0930-1000: Arrival and set up. Get bikes out and ready
1000-1100: Classroom session: Advanced Mechanics and/or Ride leadership
1100-1110: Break for restroom, hydration, snack
1115-1300: Bike Ride on Katy Trail
1300-1430: Social/Lunch at Hendrick’s BBQ

***This is an open event for the St Louis community for veteran and civilians with physical disabilities. Staff, volunteers, buddy riders, and community members are welcomed. Registration and approval is required. Covid-19 protocols are in place and will be enforced.
