Short Description: 

Time to ride! Join us for the return of indoor cycling as we push to move those cranks through a challenging workout. This class is open for all abilities and levels. Bring your bike or use one of ours. We have spinners available for all bikes and a variety of bikes available for you to try. This program will be led by our cycling staff and incorporate different workouts each week. We will work on tempo, endurance, strength, and building skills for the riding season.

Cycling is seen all over the world and is one of the most adaptable sports there is. At Adaptive Adventures, we don't stop pedaling and this program is no different which will test you and make you still enjoy a bike.We will provide all the spinners to ride indoors and have staff ready to provide help for fitting.

Our staff invites you to experience this fun interactive class.

 


 

Goals: 


 

Who can attend?: Individuals with physical disabilities over the age of 18 years old, their family and support members, volunteers and community partners. 


Expectations: Must be able to self-transfer up or down by 12+ inches; must be comfortable in close confines with other athletes; must be 18 years or older to participate.

*Please note, this program can be high intensity so please take the proper steps to ensure that you are able to participate safely. Each participant will have control of their level of intesity.


How should I dress & things to bring? : Please wear moisture wicking and comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes and a small towel for sweat.

Participants are recommended to bring a water bottle and snacks.

  • Preferred Bike (Or select one of ours)
  • Cycling Bibs (Recommended)
  • Water Bottle

*We will have equipment available on a limited basis.

Timeliness: All participants, volunteers, and community partners are expected to register for each event, arrive on time, and be ready for the class. Please notify staff in case of cancellation, running late, or any other event. The class will start at 6 PM MST sharp and participants who arrive 10 minutes after without notice will not be allowed to participate in class.
