A full day of training with community partners and those interested in supporting adaptive cycling on Oahu.

*This is a closed event with community partners to train, instruct, and help kickoff the cycling program in Oahu. 

What to expect: The community partner cycling training will allow all staff and volunteers to learn, ask questions, and engage in bike fiiting and assessment. Our staff will go over the fundamentals of running an adaptive cycling program, trailer maintenance/setup, bike assessment, bike adaptations, and explore other elements to make the program successful.

Who can attend?: All staff and volunteers must register through the community partners in order to participate in this event.

Expectations: All participants will follow our community partners rules, safety protocols, and reccomendations when participating in their programs.

 

How should I dress & things to bring? : Please wear moisture wicking and comfortable clothing, sandals/water shoes, and riding gear.

Participants are recommended to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.

Timeliness: All participants and volunteers must arrive 15 minutes prior.
