Summary

A community cycling program at Washington Park in Denver that happens twice a month. This event is in partnership with Project Hero and we invite other community partners to join us. Washington Park has a 2.7 mile loop that is available for all riders and this year we are incorporating an intermediate ride from the park. Our cycling trailer will be at the park with bikes available for all participants to use.

Who can attend?: Individuals with physical disabilities, their family and support members, community members, volunteers and community partners. 

 

Expectations: Must be able to self-transfer up or down by 12+ inches; must wear a helmet at all times when riding a bike; waiver must be signed for every participant; 

 

How should I dress & things to bring? : Please wear moisture wicking and comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes and bring riding gear.

Participants are recommended to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and hat for practice.

 

Timeliness: All participants, volunteers, and community partners are expected to register for each event, be respectful, and ride in a safe manner. Please notify staff in case of cancellation, running late, or any other event.
