The Northern Arizona Adaptive Sports Association (NAASA) and Adaptive Adventures are partnering this winter to provide the Arizona Snowbowl Ski Camp in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona. This four night, three day camp provides individuals with physical disabilities an opportunity to learn to ski or improve upon their skiing abilities. All participants will experience one-on-one lessons and will be provided adaptive equipment as needed. All participants will travel and function as a group providing an opportunity for great camaraderie off the mountain.

This camp is open to adaptive skiers and snowboarders who are at a beginner to advanced level.

What to Expect

Participants can choose between one, two, or three days of lessons. Lodging can be provided the nights prior to a lesson(s). Buffet-style breakfast is provided at the hotel each morning and lunch is provided daily at the ski resort between on-snow time. Dinners will be on your own. On-snow instruction will occur on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00am-Noon with a break for lunch and 1:00pm-3:30pm.

All participants must provide their own transportation. There will be no shuttle service for this camp. You will need to drive yourself to dinners every evening and to/from the ski resort every day.

All lodging, lift tickets, lessons, equipment, and some meals are provided at no cost. Participants are responsible for their own travel and dinners.

All participants are financially responsible for their own transportation to and from the camp.

If you are in need of transport from the airport and back, please contact us and we may be able to arrange group travel at a discounted rate. All lodging, lift tickets, lessons, breakfast, lunch, some dinners, and equipment is provided at no cost. Veterans are responsible for their own travel and some meals. 

This camp is provided FREE to disabled veterans and disabled members of the armed forces thanks to the support of the VA Adaptive Sports Grant, Disabled American Veterans Service Trust and TriWest Healthcare Alliance.
