Join us in partnership with the Forest Preserve District of Cook County for an exhilarating program designed to introduce you to the joys of adaptive climbing, cycling, kayaking and camping.

Immerse yourself in nature and community as we enjoy the beautiful setting of Camp Bullfrog Lake.

Engage in outdoor activities that invigorate body and mind.

🗓️ Schedule & Format:
Adaptive Adventures brings a wide range of specialized equipment, tailored to your needs.
Participants will be able to float between the offered activities throughout the scheduled time frames each day.

The option exists to attend either day OR stay overnight. Please select your desired attendence timeframes when registering.

Be sure to arrive on time to ensure you have time to enjoy it all!
Trained staff and volunteers will assist and guide you in the sports of the day.
Registration is mandatory for participation.
Punctuality is appreciated. If you can't make it after registering, please inform us as soon as possible.
If you would like to participate in the activities, but will not be spending the night, that option is available. Please specify the day(s) you will be attending.

🌟 Who Is This Program Designed For?
Adaptive Adventures programs and equipment are specially designed for individuals with a primary physical or visual disability and their families.
Essential Eligibility Criteria: Participants must be able to follow instructions and communicate effectively, with or without personal assistance provided by themselves to be eligible to participate in Adaptive Adventures programs. In water sports, participants must be able to close their own mouths to prevent water from entering.

👟 Dress Code & Essentials:
Wear comfortable, athletic attire suitable for activity (think breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics).
Don't forget closed-toe shoes and layers that can be easily added or removed.
We provide all necessary adaptive equipment and helmets.
Especially if you are staying overnight, be sure to pack layers and other appropriate clothing as well as bug spray and sunscreen.
