Volunteer Training: Kayak/SUP - Colorado

This paddlesports-specific volunteer training will cover everything our volunteers need to know about our paddlesports program. Our Cycling and Paddlesports Manager, Chris Wiegand will teach about adaptive techniques and equipment used for athletes in our kayak and paddleboard programs. The clinic will cover disability awareness, paddling techniques, proper transfers for athletes who use wheelchairs, use of kayak adaptive equipment, and an overview of the program model so our volunteers can interact on a better platform with our athletes.

Attendees will need athletic clothing (PFDs, paddles, and watercrafts will be provided).
