Enjoy adaptive climbing while you explore beautiful Camp Sullivan in this program specially designed for individuals with a primary physical disability or visual impairment.

Description

We’ve got the equipment so everyone can create their own adventure. Join us to discover what equipment is available for checkout at the Forest Preserves of Cook County for climbing adventures. Caregivers, service providers and supporters are welcome to join in too and get trained by Adaptive Adventures. Learn how to support others on our newly added adaptive climbing lane. Campers and non-campers are invited to test their climbing skills!

11 am to 1 pm: Instructional training
3 pm to 6 pm: Climbing wall practice and GRIT freedom chair trail walks
